As a child I liked to watch the birds feeding in the garden on scraps put out for them. It was as an adult while I was out checking badger setts that I really started to look at and enjoy the birdlife we have in this country. I had never visited a wildlife reserve and was amazed at the opportunity they gave see our wildlife up close.
With the exception of the Golden Eagle all photos are of wild free flying birds. The Goldie was taken as a captive bird but was too good to pass up as a photo opportunity.
