WILDLIFE LADY

Badgers

Badgers are my biggest passion. I first saw one many years ago in the New Forest and from that night I was "hoooked". I watched a sett in Essex for five years and got to know the badgers very well. Much to my surprise and delight the very first badger I saw at my study sett was an erythristic badger. It was perhaps fitting that during my last spring with "my" badgers one of the sows, Fern, should give birth to two erythristic cubs. I now watch badgers in my new home in Scotland. My interest in other wildlife stems from seeing those first badgers.
